Hybris is an ecommerce product platform that is used to address a family of products involving Customer Experience and Management. Hybris is not a single product like SAP ERP or SAP BW system, rather it is a group of products to provide end to end customer engagement experience.  

                   Hybris Workflow is something like a cron job but designed as a flow where depending on different parameters you receive different results. The good example of a workflow logic is a creating of a new product. The workflow can be created through the Hybris Management Console or through the file ImpEx script

  Explanation of some modules in hmc:

Following are the modules which is mostly checked throughout the whole project. We are covering here only mostly searched Items or modules:

§  Catalog: you can see all catalogs used in website.

§  Order: you can check placed and pending orders

§  User: you can access a list of customers and employees in your website

§  WCMS: This contains all pages and component on your website

§  System: system contains items, attribute, cronjobs and so on.

§  Base Commerce: It contains Stores, Warehouse and stock level of products.

 

Note: HMC is not available in new version. Backoffice is used instead.

The idea is that SmartEdit brings a WYSIWYG cockpit in which content managers (or any other type of end users) can do without IT support in maintaining the pages of their SAP Hybris Commerce websites. ...
